KONTROL PRIMER HAS WORKED WONDERS FOR THE LONGEVITY OF MY MAKEUP!

My name is Juliette, I've been a fashion model in LA since age 13. I'm from Riverside, California (a very hot and dry climate) and am currently working at a resturant when I'm not modeling in LA. I am acne prone and have combination skin; I'm very dry on my cheeks and oily on my T-zone. 

Kontrol Primer has worked wonders for the longevity of my makeup throughout the entire day working in a fast pace environment. Everytime I look in the mirror—even while I've been running around work, sweating— my makeup looks like I just put it on, I never feel the need to do touch-ups or reapply throughout the day. I don't get any creasing around my nose or under my eyes because it controls my oil production while locking in moisture on the dry parts of my face keeping any flakey skin at bay. My faveorite part is that the primer contains so few ingredients that doesn't break me out and works amazing for my acne. It only contains what it needs to be effective, and I can actually pronunciate each ingredient. 

The price may seem a little high but it really isn't for the quality of the primer and the amount you're getting. Most makeup primers are $15-$50 for a .5oz bottle, which is hardly anything. I'd definitely recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a 5 star, high quality primer with simplicity and efficiency in mind.

THIS PRIMER IS LITERALLY LIFE CHANGING!!!!

I am a makeup artist and I know my skin through and through. I had got a sample of this and tried it on a day where I was going to be running around all day. I am a person who is just always somewhat sweaty and no matter what by hour 1 or 2 my makeup is already shiny! By hour 5 or 6 omg you can forget about it! So I put this on in the morning and already while applying it to my skin it felt so hydrating which was awesome because I never felt a primer like this before. I then let it sit for two minutes and started applying my makeup. I noticed right away that MY MAKEUP WAS APPLYING TO MY SKIN LIKE BUTTER!!!! Omg I could not believe it. Not only that but I noticed that it made my makeup actually look better!!!!!!!WHAT THE HELL?!?!!!! I was in shock! But the test wasn’t over, I still wanted to see if this primer could withstand the heat I was about to endure from running around all day. Guess what y’all? IT DID!!!!!! 12 hours later I looks in the mirror and my face was still on point!!!! I’m sorry WHAT??????????There was a little shine by my nose but that was it!!!! I literally could not believe my eyes!!!!! I did not touch up or anything!

Keep in mind this day I was running around outside in the heat!!! I couldn’t believe it. I was in complete awe.

This is no joke REVOLUTIONARY!!!!!!! The makeup industry needs this. THE WORLD NEEDS THIS!!! It’s a complete game changer!!!

I MUST SAY KONTROL IS ONE GREAT PRIMER!

For the summer I opt out on wearing make up cause of my oily skin (plus I sweat) . The constant use of oil blotters and a reapplying is a hassle . Until I tried Kontrol a few weeks ago. I noticed a drastic change instantly. Before I used to leave the house and I would already be shiny, but after using KONTROL primer it was a good 6-7 hours before I even noticed the oils start to come through. Definitely happy I found a new primer. It’s going to be a great Summer!!!!

THE HOLY GRAIL OF PRIMERS!

There are so many things I want to say about this product, that I don’t even know where to begin, but the most major and genuine reaction I can give is: “Holy Fucking Shit!” Excuse my language, but I have to tell you my raw most honest reaction, because this product is exactly that, raw and honest, does exactly what it says it will do, and this is the only way you can truly do it justice. When I first applied the product, I’ll admit, I had already judged it based on an unfair comparison to other primers. See, I dont use primers. Like ever.

It’s not because I don’t think they have value— as a makeup artist, I find primers an important part of the skin prep process; however, they don’t always seem to do what I need them to do. Sometimes they don’t layer well with other products, bead and ball up, and slough off; other times they just don’t do much to actually extend the life of the makeup or make the application any easier. So I use them sparingly on clients. When I apply my own makeup I don’t use primers, even under harsher conditions, because my skin just fights it, and I don’t feel it makes a difference for the application or end result.

Let me also make note that I suffer from Eczema, which is often triggered by different products, or the use of too many products at one time, and generally only worsened by primers. Conclusion is, I stay away. So you can imagine as I started to apply this primer I had my doubts and hesitations, but all of that melted away as this primer melted my heart. Cheesy, I know.

I took time to examine the packaging. Cute, yes, but efficient? doubtful.

The first thing I noticed was how thin the product was in the dropper. Again, comparing to most primers, I was expecting it to be so thick and plasticky that I didn’t think a dropper would be effective.

I was so wrong. It was the basic consistency of a light oil. Amazing. Workable. Lightweight . Soft. HOW COULD THIS EVEN BE A PRIMER? I placed a few drops on the back of my hand to move it around and feel it: test it out before i threw it on my face. It was so smooth and incredibly pliable; no marbling. Like, wtf!

I found that I didn’t need much of it. Im so used to kind of overusing a product because it never feels like enough. I placed two drops on each cheek and three on my forehead. I started to rub it in and discovered it was waayyyy too much! I had to spread it all the way down my neck and still felt like I had leftover. Mind you, I know this sounds bad, but I actually found this to be a great thing! It means a little goes a long way, and not unlike how most products suggest a “dime-size” amount of use, you can literally use 1-3 drops to cover an entire face! Talk about sparing! You get longevity of use. The product stretches itself! No waste!

As for what it does? My skin felt baby smooth, almost velvet after i applied it. It felt like just another layer of skin care prep. I felt moisturized and protected, without feeling oily or constricted. I was amazed it could feel so much like a serum and a primer at the same time!

As I started to apply my makeup, I noticed it would glide on so effortlessly. Normally I have to go over my brows multiple times to really get the depth of color I want. I only went over my brows once, and was actually satisfied. And I didn't have to apply that much product, which was crazy to me: a little went a long way for my makeup as well. So the primer not only had longevity itself, but increased the longevity of the makeup products I was using.

It was much the same for the rest of my face. My concealer went on so smoothly, no repeated buffing needed, blended flawlessly together and into my skin, and didn’t require that much actual product to achieve my everyday look. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I didn’t waste all this extra makeup wiping off of the brush (I use an old t shirt to wipe my brushes on as i go lol)— and it was essentially spotless.

But now the true test would be, could I go through my entire day without blotting, touching up, or having to reapply anything? I gave the primer a fair chance. I went through my day and didn’t even look in a mirror. I told myself I wouldn’t look till the end of my day. Now it’s Mid-summer, in the dead heat of July. I’m out and about running errands, sweating, melting. I moved to pat my nose one time and stopped myself, agreeing that I would really see what this primer could do.

Even while I was at work, probably about 7 hours into wear, a nice customer told me my makeup was beautiful and flawless! I hadn’t seen my face for 7 hours, and was sweating and running around, and she still complimented me. Now I was truly intrigued.

I wrapped up my busy day around 10pm and decided after a long hard laborious and sweaty day, I could finally look at the train wreck on my face. I just about died! My makeup was perfect! My brows weren’t shiny; my chin; my nose; my cheeks; satin and blurred like when i first did my makeup that morning! I called bullshit! So I started touching my face to see if my makeup would slide right off. Nothing! My brows didn’t move! And my skin looked glowy! No tiny breakouts. No itchy dry spots. No irritation. My eczema was at bay. It had done it! It blew me away!

The Kontrol primer literally checked every box a primer should check and then some! The product itself will last you, it will make your makeup last you, and not only will allow for flawless effortless makeup applications, but will make the results of which last you literally all day: no touch ups, no reapplying.

12 hours of makeup wear and I didnt have to struggle. I was happy, my skin was happy. I can honestly say that Kontrol primer is the holy grail of primers, innovative skincare prep, and a must have for everyone, from your personal makeup bags to your professional makeup kits!

MY MAKEUP STAYED ON AND NEVER MOVED!

Every year I make my way out to Las Vegas for my annual EDC trip and every year I’ve almost given up on wearing makeup because it’s so hot, it usually just melts right off my face. But last year I was lucky enough to take some Kontrol primer with me. I was so happy with the outcome! My face makeup stayed on and never moved. The first year I actually felt cute all night even with all the heat. I highly recommend it for anyone with any skin type. Mine is usually dry but the primer just puts the right amount of moisture back into my skin to set my makeup beautifully! My go to primer!

AS FAR AS TOUCH-UPS GO?

Behind every flawless makeup application there's an extraordinary primer, and your primer is just that. I wanted to let you know how much I LOVE your primer and how crazy obsessed I am with it. To tell you the truth I have been using and trying many different primers throughout and for being the makeup junkie that I am, I'm always psyched to try the newest thing. I tend to buy products that compliment each other and originate in their own way. My God, this primer speaks for itself. Ash you have OUTDONE yourself!!! I love the fact that it comes with a dropper for easy dispensing-so great way to use only that you need with no waste. I have combo skin and so far it works great with my oily/dry areas. As far as touch ups go, I have not needed to one bit thoughout the day so that's pretty impressive. 5 stars all the way, I'm looking forward to trying your gold infused one as well. I have gotten many compliments on my makeup & I have a whole line of friends waiting to try this primer out! Super stoked for the launch of this magical potion!

THIS TRULY DOES HELP WITH PLAKES AND PATCHES, UNBELIEVABLE!!!

I am wowed by this primer. My daughter and I have been obsessed with your primer! I was on a continuous & endless search for 'THE' primer and I think I have found my holy grail! Bottle and dispenser is amazing! I can control every bit of product. Consistency is very comparable to the ‘Farsali’ primer. 

I have not yet needed to touch up on my makeup whatsoever which is pretty shocking since I always have to sneak off to the ladies room to powder up my nose! Considering the fact that I have very dry skin, I was very skeptical since almost no primers work this well for me. This truly does help with my flakes and dry patches. Unbelievable!!!!! 

Price is very decent for what you get. Hats off! Absolutely cannot wait for more products and for this primer to finally launch!

MY FAVORITE PART IS THAT KONTROL WORKS LIKE A PRIMER SHOULD!

I started using Kontrol Primer after looking for a skincare item that would protect and moisturize my face without causing my skin to break out or become oily throughout the day.

My friend recommended this product and not only did it deliver in the problematic areas I was facing, I noticed that much of the scar tissue I had was healing faster than just washing my face alone.

My favorite part about this product is that it works like I imagined a primer should.

THE ONLY THING I COULD SAY ABOUT THIS PRIMER IS THAT ITS UTTERLY AMAZING!

I’m a woman who doesn’t like to wear makeup too much because I have a bad problem with sweating but in the middle of June in hot Southern California with a full day of events this primer helped my makeup stay on all day and into the night. The best thing I didn’t have to fix or add any makeup throughout the day but adding more lip gloss. The primer felt good in my hands and fresh on my face, it didn’t even make me feel like I had makeup up on which is a great feeling.  I sweat profusely and I’m a active roller skater and went skated after wearing all day at a party and after the night was over my makeup look like I just applied it !! The only con for me would be the price tag because I am a woman who works a minimum wage job but not going to lie after experiencing this primer first hand it something I would have to just take the chance and splurge on myself. This is definitely a 5 star product and I’ve already recommended to every woman I know so we’ll be waiting to see it in stores soon.

MY MAKEUP GLIDES ON FLAWLESSLY!

This stuff is literally the Holy Grail of primers. I have incredibly dry skin which usually makes my makeup look patchy in some areas. With Kontrol, my makeup glides on flawlessly! I refuse to leave the house now without it.

IT WORKS REALLY WELL WITH MY FOUNDATION GIVING ME A HYDRATED FEEL ALL DAY!

What I love about this primer is that it goes on as a very thin layer. I have combination skin so I wear a moisturizer prior to my primer. It’s important because I still have foundation to go on top as the third step. It works really well with my foundation giving me a hydrated feel all day. A little goes a long way. My makeup felt weightless while still achieving the full coverage look that I prefer.

NOT OILY OR STICKY AND KEPT MY MAKEUP DEWY!

What can I not say about this primer?!? It's amazing consistency alone is enough to rave about!

Not oily or sticky and kept my makeup dewy without an oil slick flowing down my face. Also noticed an improvement in my skin's texture after using it a few times.

A little goes a long way is a plus as well!
